What if space is the dual of matter?
I tend to think of our universe as all the matter that was created in The Big Bang, along with the huge ball of space that contained it. But I focus on the matter.
But, what if matter and space come together, balancing each other?
If there's too much matter and too little space, you get black holes and matter leaves, so space expands.
When matter leaves, it goes into the dual universe, where space is forced out, into ours, making our space expand.
Meanwhile, in the dual universe, matter flows in and space shrinks.
At some point in our universe, there'll be too much space, and it will erupt. It will spew space as a big bang into the dual universe, which by then is mainly mass. Our universe will empty of space quickly, and collapse.
Then the situation will be reversed. Our universe will suddenly shrink to nothing and be mainly mass, while the dual universe begins its cycle of expansion.
