8. Actions to Take to Overcome Depression
- Read the preceding chapters- context is key, depression
is a view.
- Communicate with a therapist, take medications if prescribed
- Use ECouch
- Connect, communicate with others, all who are receptive
- Connect physically, hugs, massage
- Connect with friends, walk & talk, play
- Exercise, eat good food, courses, meditation, living life fully
- Make a list of reasons to enjoy life. Include:
- What do you enjoy?
- What brings you joy?
- Who do you love?
- Include a special someone you'll meet someday.
Don't believe your thoughts that there won't be anyone. They're not true.
- Map out a life worth living, share it with others to get their
feedback that it's safe. Then follow your plan.
Remember it's YOUR plan- you can improve it at any time.

resources.
